What Is a Full Venue Buyout? | StarBase Las Vegas

What Does a Full Venue Buyout Actually Mean?

“Full venue buyout” sounds pretty self-explanatory, but what are you actually getting?

At StarBase, it means the whole place is yours.

Your rental includes six hours of private access to our entire 8,000-square-foot venue. No other events are happening in the other rooms. No sharing common spaces. Just your event, your guests, and plenty of room to make the space your own.

And there’s a little more to it than just getting the keys to 8,000 square feet.

Yep, You Get the Whole Space

StarBase has several different spaces throughout the venue, and with a full buyout, you have access to all of them.

That means you can create different moments throughout the event instead of having everything happen in one room. Maybe guests check in and grab a drink in one area before moving into another for dinner or a presentation. Another room can become an activation, lounge, photo moment, or something completely unexpected.

Or you can throw that plan out the window and do something entirely different.

That’s kind of the point. You have options.

And because the venue is exclusively yours, you have much more freedom when it comes to guest flow and layout. We can build the space around your event rather than having to work around another one.

And the Furniture Comes With It

You’re also not walking into one giant empty room and figuring everything out from scratch.

Your venue rental includes our existing in-house furniture, giving you plenty to work with when creating your layout. We can rearrange pieces and build out different seating areas, dining setups, lounges, presentation spaces, or whatever makes the most sense for your event.

And if what we have in-house isn’t quite enough for what you’re envisioning, we can help there too. Through our sister company, FWR Rental Haus, we can source additional furniture and rentals to build out the space even further.

Want to take things beyond furniture? Our other sister company, Fresh Wata, specializes in fabrication, giving us even more options for custom event elements and bringing bigger ideas to life.

So while there’s already a pretty solid starting point inside StarBase, you’re definitely not limited to what’s already in the room.

Make It Look Like Your Event

One of the fun parts of having the whole venue is getting to make it feel like yours for the night.

Between our screens, lighting, signage opportunities, custom fabrication, furniture, and different spaces throughout the venue, there are plenty of ways to bring your event or brand into StarBase.

Go subtle or completely transform the place. We’ve seen both.

A full buyout gives you a blank-ish canvas without actually giving you an empty warehouse and saying, “Good luck!”

“But My Event Isn’t That Big…”

Totally fine.

Even with a smaller guest count, your rental is still a full venue buyout, so you’ll have the entire space privately to yourself. That doesn’t mean we have to make your 75-person event feel like 75 people standing in an 8,000-square-foot building.

We can close off certain rooms and sections of the venue to create a smaller footprint and make everything feel more intimate. We can also open different areas throughout the event if you want guests to move from one experience to the next.

Basically, having more space doesn’t mean you have to use all of it at once.

Here’s Where a Full Buyout Gets Fun

Having the whole venue also means you don’t have to show your guests everything at once.

Start with cocktails in one space, then open another for dinner or a presentation. Keep a room tucked away for a surprise activation. Create a VIP lounge, gifting suite, game room, or completely different experience somewhere else. You can even shift the energy throughout the night, with a quieter space for conversation and another where the music and entertainment are turned all the way up.

The different areas can also help you create more of a journey for your guests. Instead of walking in, finding a seat, and staying there all night, they can actually move through the venue and discover something new along the way.

You have 8,000 square feet. You might as well have some fun with it.

It Can Also Make Planning a Whole Lot Easier

The venue itself is only one part of putting together an event. Then there’s food, drinks, sound, lighting, entertainment, activations... and suddenly your vendor list is getting very long.

That’s another advantage of working with StarBase.

We can act as a one-stop shop for many of the moving pieces that go into your event. Our team can handle your A/V needs, coordinate catering and beverage service, and help source entertainment, interactive activations, rentals, and other event elements.

And with FWR Rentals and Fresh Wata in the mix, we have even more resources available when your event calls for additional furniture, custom builds, or something a little outside the box.

Instead of having to find and coordinate a different vendor for every single piece, you can work with our team to bring more of it together under one roof.

Less vendor juggling. More actually enjoying the planning process.

As our sister company, Fresh Wata, puts it, “We are a team of makers, technologists, and storytellers.” That same spirit carries through to what we do at StarBase. We’re not just here to provide the space. We’re event producers who know how to bring the people, ideas, and moving pieces together to create an experience.

And after doing this day in and day out, you could say event planning is pretty much second nature to us.

Make the Space Work for Your Event

There really isn’t one “right” way to use StarBase.

We’ve had events that take advantage of nearly every part of the venue and others that keep things intentionally intimate. Some are built around presentations and networking. Others are all about food, entertainment, activities, or simply getting people together for a really good time.

That’s what makes a full venue buyout useful. It’s not only about having more space. It’s about having more control over how your event looks, feels, and flows.

So, what does a StarBase full venue buyout actually mean?

Six hours. 8,000 square feet. The furniture is already here. The entire venue is yours. And a team that can help you pull the rest of it together.

Not a bad place to start.
