This Privacy Policy explains how Fresh Wata, LLC, doing business as StarBase Las Vegas ("StarBase," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit www.starbaselv.com (the "Site"), contact us, book a space, buy tickets to our events, sign up for our mailing list, or attend an event at our venue at 3905 W Diablo Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89118. By using the Site or our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us:
- Contact and inquiry details, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, event type, preferred dates, guest count, budget, and any message you send us through our forms, by email, or by phone.
- Booking information, such as event details, billing contact information, and signed agreements. Payments for venue rentals are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Newsletter and RSVP sign-ups, such as your name and email address and the events or lists you choose.
- Anything else you choose to share with us, such as survey responses, reviews, or photos you tag us in.
Information collected automatically:
- Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies used by us and our partners for site functionality, analytics, and advertising (see Section 4).
- Business visitor identification: we may use third-party services that match website visits to publicly available business profile information (for example, a company name or professional profile) so we can follow up with businesses interested in our venue.
Information from third parties:
- Ticketing platforms (such as Humanitix) share attendee name, email, and order details with us for events you buy tickets to.
- Event partners, planners, and clients who book our venue may share guest lists with us for check-in and safety.
- Advertising and social media platforms may share aggregated or campaign-level information with us.
2. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes and proposals, and schedule tours.
- Book, plan, and host events, including check-in, security, and guest safety.
- Send transactional messages, such as confirmations, reminders, and invoices.
- Send marketing emails and event announcements, where permitted. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Understand how the Site is used and improve our Site, services, and events.
- Measure and improve our advertising, including showing ads to people who have visited our Site.
- Protect our venue, guests, and business, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting (Webflow), form tools, email marketing, customer relationship management, analytics, ticketing, payment processing, and phone and messaging services. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Event partners, such as caterers, production partners, and vendors, when needed to deliver your event.
- Advertising and analytics partners, such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, through cookies and pixels described in Section 4.
- Legal and safety reasons, such as complying with law, responding to lawful requests, enforcing our Terms, or protecting the rights and safety of StarBase, our guests, or others.
- Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand traffic (for example, Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager), and measure and personalize advertising (for example, Google Ads, the Meta Pixel, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag). These partners may collect information about your activity on our Site and other websites over time.
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; manage ad preferences at adssettings.google.com, in your Facebook/Instagram and LinkedIn settings, and at optout.aboutads.info. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals; because there is no common standard, our Site does not currently respond to them.
5. Photography and Video at Events
Events at StarBase may be photographed, filmed, or live-streamed by us, our partners, or event hosts. By attending, you acknowledge that your image may appear in photos and videos used on our Site, social media, and marketing materials. If you do not want to be photographed, please tell a staff member at the event or email us and we will make reasonable efforts to honor your request.
6. Email Messages
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email. We may still send you transactional or booking-related messages.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide our services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, and then delete or de-identify it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by law, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email mgmt@starbaselv.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law.
Nevada residents: Nevada law allows consumers to opt out of the sale of certain covered information. We do not currently sell covered information as defined by Nevada law, but you may submit an opt-out request to mgmt@starbaselv.com and we will honor it.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Some events are restricted to guests 21 and older.
11. Third-Party Links and Platforms
The Site links to third-party websites and platforms, such as ticketing pages, social media, and partner sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
